What Go, Caution, and Rest mean

EXPLAIN2 MINCHECKED OCT 14

Each morning Endure weighs how you slept, your heart-rate variability (HRV) and resting heart rate against your own usual, your check-in answers, and how hard yesterday was. Most days that adds up to Go. Caution means something's off enough to take the edge off today. Rest means the numbers are low enough that training today would cost more than it gives.

What tips the call

  • Your heart. HRV well below your usual (about 15% or more) or resting heart rate well above it (about 10% or more) is the clearest sign your body is still working on something.
  • Your sleep, against the target you set, or what you usually get if you haven't set one.
  • Your check-in. Energy, soreness, stress, fueling and mood each count. Saying you're ill or injured takes hard efforts off the table for the day.
  • Yesterday. A 9 out of 10 effort, or an 8 that felt rough, carries into this morning.

One off signal can lower your score. Two or more failed checks turn a Go into a Caution.

Feeling ill or hurt beats any score. Rest.
