Getting Started
Sign up, onboarding wizard, coach invitations, and first-run experience.
Signing Up
Go to the landing page and click Start Free Trial. You can sign up with email/password or through supported social login providers (configured via Clerk). Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required.
After creating your account, you are redirected to onboarding.
Onboarding
Onboarding is a multi-step wizard that collects the information ENDURE needs to build your first training plan and start scoring your readiness. There are two paths:
Quick Setup (2-3 minutes):
- Welcome — Introduction to ENDURE.
- Intent — Select your primary goal type.
- Profile — Your name, age, experience level, and primary sport (cycling, running, gravel, MTB, triathlon, swimming, trail running, XC skiing, multisport, or other).
- Goals — Specific targets (complete my first event, improve overall fitness, race competitively, podium finish, set a new PR, or enjoy the process).
- Metrics — Your FTP (Functional Threshold Power) in watts and weight. If you don't know your FTP, that's fine — ENDURE can estimate it later from your activity data.
- Confirmation — Review your choices and finish.
Complete Profile (15 minutes): Covers everything in Quick Setup plus:
- Availability and schedule preferences (weekly hours available, preferred training days, session timing)
- Who you are (motivation, training style)
- Current fitness assessment (experience level from beginner to elite, years of structured training)
- Racing history
- Equipment (bike type, smart trainer, power meter, head unit)
- Health and recovery (injury history, medical conditions, sleep baseline, stress level)
- Communication preferences (notification frequency and timing)
- Integrations (optionally connect Strava, Garmin, WHOOP, Intervals.icu, and others)
Race Context
If you arrive at sign-up from a race page (e.g., from Gravel God), your target race information (name, date, distance, elevation) is automatically pre-filled into onboarding. Your first plan will be built around peaking for that race.
Coach Invitations
If your coach sent you an invite link (/invite/COACH-ABC123), click it and you'll see your coach's name, their organization, and an optional personal message. After accepting the invitation:
- If you already have an account, you're linked to your coach immediately.
- If you're new, you'll go through onboarding with the coach's pre-filled data (sport, FTP, goals) already populated. You can change any of these values.
After Onboarding
Once onboarding completes, ENDURE creates your athlete profile, generates your first training plan based on the methodology best suited to your goals and availability, and drops you on the Today dashboard.
